@augus@gunpla Turn A had a really unique look to the mecha because they brought in American SF designer Syd Mead to do the designs. To this day the Turn A Gundam is the only gundam to have been designed by an American.
It has its fans, but overall the model kit line didn't do very well in the 90s. Though we did get the MG Turn X that one time.
@augus@gunpla I was disappointed by how small it was compared to the original Turn A Gundam Wodom. That and the Momokapool felt like a missed chance to get some modern Turn A HGs.
@faab64 @palestine@lemmy.ml @palestine@fedibird.com Why are they in UEFA in the first place? They're geographically not in Europe.

@augus @gunpla @gundam I like the intentionality that goes in EGs. I can just stare at the runners. They are so well thought out.
Cheap entry level kits have come a long way since the 90s Wing/G/X and the terrible 00s Seed kits.
@rakyat @cafe I was placing the dead animals or bait there and trapping flies and beetles.
@rakyat @cafe I do have one ghost story about that place. But my phone battery is low now.
@rakyat @cafe I've stayed there for 3 months while doing my undergrad/ masters thesis on Highland carrion flies.
Half the time I probably smelled like a corpse, so I didn't have any supernatural encounters.
