That's both disheartening and good to know. IMHO FF wastes too much vertical and horizontal space in the bars at the top of the page. I always liked being able to shrink those down, hopefully they will continue to support it
The only way I know of, is to restart Firefox. If you're concerned whether or not FF is picking up your changes (I always forget which profile directory is being read (AppData vs Local) on windows) you could try something like this:
/*** uncomment below to verify userChrome.css is being read by turning the taskbar red /
/ #nav-bar{ background: #f00 !important } ***/
Just uncomment the 2nd line, restart FF with your changes, and comment it out once you're done
I don't disagree, I still use a paper towel. When it was first installed they forgot to modify the mechanism that closes the door on one of the bathrooms. The tension was set still set to prevent someone from being smashed in the face (or the door from slamming shut), but that meant you needed apply a fair amount of force to open the door. They've since adjusted it and now it's pretty easy to open with just one foot
As everyone has already said, use the paper towels. Some doors are also equiped with a small piece of metal at the base of the door which you step on, and pull with your shoe
Seconding, I use my instant read thermometer alot. Whether it something from the oven, airfryer, or stove, especially for fish and chicken, it keeps me from over cooking the meat
I thought DS9 was worst starship. The thing could barely manouver, it had no saucer separation mechanism, no cool moving warp engines, no graplers, could barely dodge a wrench muchless a photon torpedo. Just a terrible design for exploration
For me it was anticipating (knowing when) the drought, bad tides, etc. Once I knew the schedule, I had preparations incrementally in place and each play through became easier and easier...but man those first few run throughs were tough on my little beaver friends
It's a dam good game
I'm happy to be your dam guide. You'll have a hard time putting down this dam game. If you have any dam questions please feel free to ask, just please include a dam screenshot
Same. My morning shower also signals the start of my day, and my evening shower indicates the end of my work day. In addition to just feeling clean, it helps my body adjust to time of day, and to prepare for what's to come (AM stress vs PM booze 😂 )
If you like Samurai Jack, and you have the oppurtunity, check out Star Wars Clone Wars you may like it. Dave Filoni was the show runner, his attention to the story arcs really make it a pleasure to watch
These guys make external windshield covers and other accessories for heavy snow and ice.
and of course there's Amazon. Amazon UK options - You may be able to find these available off of amazon
Personally I prefer a custom fitted internal sun shield in the summer, and a Snow Joe for the winter. The heatshield sunshield is reversable, so in winter you can have the dark side face outwards to absorb heat (I've never used it that way). The only thing, it's kind of a PITA to store as they don't fold (flat) like an accordian, they prefer to be stored as tube, so you can't slip it into a seat back pocket.
I also have the side shields for my front windows and so far (~4yrs later) they can stay in place without the provided suction cups

LOL I wasn't sure if your comment was contradicting the article, sarcasm, or tl;dr I can defintely see the resemblance

Started watching Nautilus. I never read 20000 Leagues, so I can't speak to how close it is to the book, but I can say the show is entertaining
Nicolas Cage and Pedro Pascal should team up for Season 5. The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent was fantastic!
It's that magnificent hair, it just captures the attention of the viewer
It's not weird, he's just deciding if today is the day he burns it all down 😈
