I have an old kindle Paperwhite (gen 2 or 3). Is it difficult to replace the battery? It's been lying around for a long time, so the battery doesn't work very well anymore.
Thanks for the link. Latent embedding is nothing new, need to read up on it a bit to see how it works. True artificial intelligence needs some representation of ideas and concepts.. Language provides this and has plenty of training data, but is verbose and ambiguous. Using a compressed/latent representation totally makes sense, but I wonder how it's trained.
I don't consider LLMs to be AI, but it's a step along the way. As you say though, it feels like a dead end.
I think letting the others work out the kinks before making big investments makes sense. What is the benefit of being first vs. additional sales? Look at Microsoft with their OS LLM integration. They are backpeddling due to cost and user resistance. Their users can always use other general purpose LLMs.
Leaving this here for anyone interested in why the grim reaper has a scythe.
Wikipedia
The scythe as an artistic symbol of death has deliberate agricultural associations since the medieval period due to the importance of farming and seasons. The tool symbolizes the removal of human souls from their bodies in huge numbers, with the analogy being to a farmer (reaper) cutting through large swaths of grain crops during harvest.
I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're refering to as You, is in fact, Demodex/You, or as I've recently taken to calling it, Demodex plus You.
Played this a few years ago. Worked great, but the Ai was a bit dumb at times. Since then, there's been a ton of improvements to the AI, so I'm sure it's in a much better place now.
There's a lot of QoL improvements to the UI and usability. Would def play this over the original.
Shipping from China should be way more expensive. It's still defined as a developing country in the UN and gets favorable shipping fees to devekoped countries. I think the fees increased a few years ago, but I believe it's still the case.
Shipping costs are also subsidized by the government.

The resolution on this is superb. Looks like an aerial photo from a few years ago

Ah yes, you're right. I just googled the model and read "affordable midsize sedan" in a result.
Hyundai Sonata is a budget sedan. Ioniq is their top of the line electric. Perhaps look at Hyundai Inster or Hyundai Kona or something.

Does this apply to non-US citizens as well?
Next up; piss bucket challenge
Holy shit, yes, completely forgot about that series. Great cast in it

Ride of the Castirons
Idk, I would gladly pay 1€ for a clean toilet, even for peeing. If it costs money and is a pigsty on the other hand...
Tauri uses system WebView, which on linux is webkit2-gtk. It's crap.
I think they're investigating bundling similar to electron, or using servo. Not sure if any progress has been made over the last year

Well, I can understand that. It doesn't impact the overall story, it would undeline the desperation of mankind more though
