We are more connected to farther away things while becoming more and more isolated from the things near us. I know people more passionate and informed over issues in a different country than their own local city's.
I have the same feelings, all I want is some place to chat about whatever niche interests I've got, but I can't stand reddit any longer yet also haven't really used any other social media in over a decade so I got no idea where else to look around :(
