Maybe I'm crazy, but I generally watch hockey because I like watching hockey. I feel like you might have a social media addiction if not being able to browse reddit ruins the experience. Crazy stuff.
As soon as more of those niche communities start to pop up, there won't be much reason not to use it over Reddit. It's like a back-to-basics version of Reddit.
As a drinker, I can still smell the alcohol. Some bars just smell like stale beer and urine.
