To be fair, and particularly since he's never demonstrated a shred of integrity, as long as it's legal it's really unrealistic to expect him, or really any other competitor in almost anything, not to take full advantage if the situation. It's why some of us give respect to the very few Republicans who have stood against Trump's treasonous behavior. They do so knowing full well their whole political career is down the drain by doing so.
