Wait, somebody really thought that mode does more than just not show you ur browser history afterwards?

What the fuck

When I saw headlines I automatically assumed that this was some Chrome behavior that linked your activity in incognito mode with your real outside-incognito identity.

No. You're right. They're just up in arms because if you log into Google in incognito mode, Google will know who you are in incognito mode.

What a crock

Sweet! In about three years, I can look forward to a digital gift card for a dollar ninety eight!

First, class actions works all the time. I've pulled in something like $1500 between Google and Sony shenanigans.

Second, no you won't, this is the dumbest waste of court time I've read about in a long time. It's going to be a big fat L for the plantifs and they are likely fighting for pennies if they clear the first procedurals.

How do you get notified or aware that there are some class action suits going on? Whats the sign up process like?

Google and Sony both reached out to me as part of the agreement.

On the upside, you don't need to send them your contact details!
