Has anyone else noticed their comment score and post score totals getting reset to 0 when their instance updates to 0.18.1? This happened to me today when lemmy.ninja performed their update. Post score and comment score began to climb as more people upvoted my content today, however.
Is it just me?

It’d be cool if we could collectively not care about useless Reddit points. Karma should stay over there. There’s no need for it here.

I agree, I much prefer just the votes on individual posts. I would really like it if in some future update the Lemmy devs can deactivate tracking of it at all.

Relax. I was checking because I had a whole slew of problems with my user that other people on my instance didn't have following the upgrade to 0.18.1. Not everything has to be a confrontation.

Mine reset but I’d honestly prefer for the feature to be removed all together.

Mine got reset as well. Thought it was a lemmy native feature.
But I don’t see a downside if it got removed altogether, less incentive to “farm” points and more focusing on the discussion itself.

Mine just reset, a few hours after the update. This is the only app I've used that implements a score. I actually like the idea of karma, I think it makes people act better, but I don't care that much.
