That's why you only buy black or gray socks.
For some reason, my local supermarket had decent quality wool socks on sale at a very cheap price, so I bought twenty pairs.
So I now have an entire drawer full of identical socks, and hopefully won't need to buy more for another year or two.
This is the only way to live!
But when you buy new ones you have to separate the old vs the new because they fit differently.
Not when you only buy new socks when the olds ones are beyond rescue....or you buy the same socks again and mix em up.

At first its easy to tell which is which, so naturally you'll gravitate towards the new ones leaving the old in the back of the drawer. After a year so, they'll all look the same.

Choosing paint colors is like choosing sock colors.
You choose a fun variety because just black and grey is boring.
I don't choose the colour of my house every morning though. More like once a decade for the outside.
He's not badly hurt though, his shoes are still on.
