I watched the show. The music never stood out to me, one way or the other. It was just... there. On the other hand, I'm rewatching the original right now. And I always actively notice how great the soundtrack is.

It sounds like some off-the-shelf James Bond soundtrack with a few Leitmotifs from the original thrown in.

the only time it stood out was the extremely forced Leaves From the Vine leitmotif.
other than that I never noticed the music, I keep seeing people praise the music and I have no idea what they're talking about.
