I find it maddening after having worked with PS for years. It's similar but almost everything is just a little different and try as I might I can't get proficient at it. Even tried the PS skin that is available for it and that was even more frustrating.
GIPM is not as easy, you are correct but I'm poor and have been using for years and now I'm ok at it, but again, I only use for some editing and memes nothing fancy. For pretty photos just use PS
Gimp is for work computers only. I give them a lot of credit for building it, but for home pc use, I really prefer pirated PS.
Adobe is an asshole company if I've ever seen one though.
Me too. Gimp is awesome. I can do everything I want and more really easily. I just don't get the hate. Photoshop is cancer, it's slower than Gimp and it's not even worth pirating. It hurts Adobe more if you use open source alternatives.
