My only complaint, and I mean only, is that he stopped doing the flashbacks to young Roland after the 4th book.

Granted book 4 was virtually ALL flashback, but still, there was more story there that is missing now. :(

Sometimes authors have to leave a little story out, to remind us that reality is difficult and unknowable

Just a few posts up someone was talking about the "Weird West" genre of fantasy, and I was thinking about this exact series.

Go then. There are other worlds than these.

Wonderful series, but as much as I love King's work, the man just does not know how to end a story.

Never has... Cell was the worst! "Oh, deadline is tomorrow? Ship it!"
