If you kill a PC with a recreation of the Boromir death scene, you might be able to hit all three at once!

I've made two cry, but one of them has cried twice. Does that count?

I'd think it depends on if the same player cried for 2 different reasons or not. If they cried for the same thing it could be seen as cheating because you already knew what would make them cry.

The first time was when they gave a piece of their culture to a wandering orphan minstrel girl who didn't have a family. The second was when he "accidentally" killed a young man in the arena, and the man's father challenged him to a duel for the honor of his son. The old man took some magical PCP which is my homebrew one-way ticket to Pharasma. It was a short fight, and it may have been a bit heavy handed, but I needed to punish the bloodlust murder hobo antics the group was devolving into. It worked.

The bar is low, feel free to use it as a step ladder.

Make the Players regret every decision they made the entire game...

If you're read more than they have they'll never know

Sanctus@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 2y (1 reply)

My players don't read so it's always exciting.

idunnololz@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 2y

It's not that I don't read and more that I can't read.
