Man I hope they do it justice. This game was so great back in the day and I'd love to play a revamped version of it. The following games as well though, so I'm even more hopeful this succeeds!

@bungle_in_the_jungle@lemmy.world I hope so too, I had fun playing the trilogy until they abandoned great game franchises like Splinter Cell and shift focus on Assassin's Creed games. Looks like Ubisoft is finally straighting their priorities.

There are some very good games out there that have survived this; including most of Valve’s greatest games - Half Life 1, 2, and Team Fortress 2. Remains to see if the same can happen with this team.
