In kayfabe it depends on the colour of the mist, as different colours give different effects.

Green - The commonly used mist which is said to obstruct the opponents vision.
Red - Quite often used but is said to Burn the eyes. Used by Gangrel which was known as Blood Mist.
Black - Said to blind the opponent for several weeks. Tajiri used this on Nidia
Blue- Sends the opponent to sleep.
Yellow - Paralyzes the opponent.
Purple - Cause momentarily distraction and memory loss (once used by Roxxi Laveaux).

Whether wrestlers/promotions adhere to that or not in modern times...eh. For example with the mist the House of Black does, the black mist corrupts someone and brings out their dark side instead of blinding them for weeks.

So tl;dr - It does whatever they want depending how the wrestler sells lol.

How did you like Rebirth?

I'm dying to play Rebirth but I don't have a PS5, so I'm waiting for the pc version. Trying to avoid spoilers has been a nightmare. I've lost count of how many times I've played through the original over the last quarter century across several platforms, and I've played through Remake/Intergrade 3 times.

Also, I still want a remake of FFVI (Pixel Remaster doesn't count).

I agree. AEWs production is really bad. The director always misses cues.

An example I can remember from tonight, Eddie Kingston’s machine gun chops spot. The entire time the camera was behind the post and looking up from ground level. Missed the entire sequence.

I notice they miss a lot of important moves when they occur. It feels like whoever is directing is not understanding the pace of the matches.
