Not my meme.

Flyswat@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 2y

Not my comment.

nac82@lemm.ee · 9 pts · 2y (8 replies)

Why do conservatives always have to hide their politics in alternative meme spaces?

Woozythebear@lemmy.world · -3 pts · 2y (7 replies)

Polls show that most Americans don't want to fund Israel or Ukraine.

nac82@lemm.ee · 6 pts · 2y (6 replies)

Shut up, that has nothing to do with what I said, and it's a disingenuous framing of the topic.

You can't even share a source with your bullshit propoganda, but only an idiot would think Ukraine and Israel is a single topic.

Woozythebear@lemmy.world · -3 pts · 2y (5 replies)

Another crying liberal that wants to use my tax dollars to fight the oh so important war in Ukraine but won't take his fat ass from his moms basement to enlist and fight.

nac82@lemm.ee · 5 pts · 2y (3 replies)

Lmao, the projection. You shouldn't tell on yourself like this if you are this insecure.

Enjoy ranting your lunacy at my block idiot.

Alice@hilariouschaos.com · -1 pts · 2y

Serious question here. Why is 'projection' liberals go to word for like everything ?

🤣

Woozythebear@lemmy.world · -4 pts · 2y (1 reply)

You sound like a 8 year old throwing a fit lol, libs man I swear.. just as insufferable as conservatives. Maybe take Bidens balls out of your mouth every now and then.

Alice@hilariouschaos.com · 1 pts · 2y

Hey 🤣 be nice lol

Mastengwe@lemm.ee · 0 pts · 2y

Careful, the typical right-wing anti-Ukraine talking point is showing in that comment of yours. You might want to bury that a bit deeper.

mojofrododojo@lemmy.world · 9 pts · 2y (20 replies)

Defund israel all you want. But leave Ukraine funding alone, they're defending their land against russian invaders and deserve our support.

SLAVA UKRAINE!

airrow@hilariouschaos.com · 1 pts · 2y (15 replies)

this is how a lot of "conservatives" feel but reversed... instead we don't want to see either of these wars publicly funded while America's resources are strained...

mojofrododojo@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 2y (12 replies)

Oh, you speak for conservatives huh?

Then wake up: the vote for Ukraine aid was damn near down the middle. Once again, you don't even know what your own party wants. And the american people, who they're supposed REPRESENT, you know, as REPRESENTATIVES, feels overwhelmingly that the US should aid Ukraine.

SO I think you should say: half of my party voted against aiding Ukraine, but the other half voted for it. Because THAT HALF AREN'T SIMPING FOR PUTIN.

As a footnote, I find this "don’t want to see either of these wars publicly funded" - hilarious. Fuck that bullshit. Conservatives dragged the nation to war with Iraq over specious, ridiculous bullshit, and you want to suddenly espouse this? Constrained resources? Bush dragged us into Iraq while we were still hunting Bin Laden.

Your hypocrisy and self ignorance are boundless.

You need an internet break. Please calm down

mojofrododojo@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 2y (3 replies)

Alice@hilariouschaos.com · 1 pts · 2y (2 replies)

Don't bring Deutschland into this

mojofrododojo@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 2y (1 reply)

Aren't you getting a bit emotional about this? Please calm down.

Alice@hilariouschaos.com · 1 pts · 2y

Please calm down from telling me to calm down

airrow@hilariouschaos.com · -1 pts · 2y (6 replies)

half of my party voted against aiding Ukraine

Yes, that is our half, the conservatives

you want to suddenly espouse this?

We have been espousing this consistently since (and against) Iraq, it is the policy of non-interventionism. The neo-"conservatives" are the ones who want the aggressive wars and to be "world police"

mojofrododojo@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 2y (5 replies)

Ah like the isolationists in 1940, yeah, that's a great look.

yeah, somehow you're even worse.

airrow@hilariouschaos.com · -2 pts · 2y (4 replies)

I don't think warmongering is a better look, or that WW2 couldn't have been resolved contrary to non-interventionist policy, as it was the dominant U.S. policy up until that time: https://infogalactic.com/info/United_States_non-interventionism

awwwyissss@lemm.ee · 4 pts · 2y (3 replies)

Supporting Ukrainian freedom to prevent Europe spiraling into WW3 isn't war mongering.

airrow@hilariouschaos.com · -2 pts · 2y

Do you think possibly waging war by the U.S. being involved with Ukraine would make WW3 more likely? That's what a lot of people think contrarily

rickyrigatoni@lemm.ee · 1 pts · 2y (1 reply)

America's funds going to Ukraine wouldn't be straining our resources if we also defunded our own wars against various nations who haven't done anything to us.

airrow@hilariouschaos.com · 1 pts · 2y

true... defund them all!

Lovstuhagen@hilariouschaos.com · 1 pts · 2y (3 replies)

I honestly think the worst thing for the Ukraine right now is more funds to fight a war that they basically cannot win.

It's completely lost.

They need to negotiate for a peace - not pour $61 billion trying to arm those unwilling to fight who are hiding and shirking from responsibility, sending them headlong into meat grinders to go and fight for the Donbass....

The Donbass which arguably didn't want to be part of Ukraine 3 years ago, and which definitely is a wartorn hellhole right now that has become the de facto home for Ukrainians who fled there that were against the Kiev government.

It's a really wild situation, pal, and prolonging this war will only bring countless more dead.

Russia is not getting pushed out.

mojofrododojo@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 2y (2 replies)

Russia is not getting pushed out.

they're literally filling ditches with meat and fields with dead soviet retreads. russia is getting it's shit pushed in bud. Russia has lost over 3500 officers in just a couple of years. Russia is going to get kicked out of Ukraine, Crimea and maybe even Georgia, bet.

Lovstuhagen@hilariouschaos.com · 1 pts · 2y (1 reply)

Yeah, sure, bud: the situation is so bright that the local Ukrainians are attacking the recruiters that come to their regions because they don't want to see more of their men forcibly conscripted and sent to die.

Check it out.

These aren't unique videos, either: every few days there's a new video of what's going on with recruiters in Ukraine.

This is also exactly why Russia fights the war in this way: attrition is their best friend, especially now, even more tomorrow, and as the months drag on, it becomes more desperate.

KISSmyOSFeddit@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 2y

Oh no! You spoke out against the wrong war!
That somehow means you're a tankie now!

itsonlygeorge@reddthat.com · 2 pts · 2y

First they came for the Communists And I did not speak out Because I was not a Communist

Then they came for the Socialists And I did not speak out Because I was not a Socialist

Then they came for the trade unionists And I did not speak out Because I was not a trade unionist

Then they came for the Jews And I did not speak out Because I was not a Jew

Then they came for me And there was no one left To speak out for me

sounds doubtful, it's just more war propaganda to make more money, see: https://hilariouschaos.com/post/166990?scrollToComments=true
