I'm not sure what happened but my peach tree isn't getting leaves. The branches on the end are brittle but I did a little cut on the tree bark on the trunk and it was green under so I don't think she's dead. I'm not sure what may have caused this. I thought at first it was because she didn't get enough chill hours but we got over 1000 hours here in Seattle area.
Is my peach tree dead?

It looks like there's buds on it. It's fine. It will flower first, and then leaves will start to come in.
Seems to be a 'late bloomer', I don't know enough about the particulars of your climate of this specific tree to speculate on why.

Zooming in as much as I can, it does look like some ends are budding compared to others? They obviously know better and more though.

Looks like there are plenty of buds on there? And if you’re seeing green that’s good. Is it its first year in the ground? I would wait and see since there’s not much you can do at this point. I have several trees that are fully leafed out by this point and some that are just waking up, so could just need some more time / warmer weather. It’s still in the 40s at night here.

My grandpa's peach tree had had leaves and flowers for almost a month now, a few hours north of Seattle. Not sure if there are different early/late varieties or not.
