Well it's certainly not a waste, Some More News is top notch YouTube, funny and well researched. I almost guarantee you'll enjoy it (put it on 1.5x speed or so).
But I guess the deciding point for me is that Tidal pays the artist around 5x more than Spotify - tidal pays the most of any streaming service. But the video goes into detail about how Spotify is owned by the record companies, why Taylor Swift fought against Apple Music, how Apple Music tried to screw musicians out of streaming revenue, it's all a mess, and Tidal comes out consistently on top.

They started this move almost a year ago. It has broken lyrics on many songs even if you pay for premium service.
