True , but where I live is almost nonsense buying anything else on the same price point, and even "basic" combustion cars are at almost the same price, some of the hybrids are even more expensive.

If you are buying cheaper than "entry EV's" you are buying used, otherwise the EV wins , unless you personally have some situation where EV is not viable.

Just a crazy market, you have the old brands selling a overall worse combustion car and asking the same as the cheapest EV's , without even mentioning the average combustion cars that are actually more expensive than the "entry " offerings on EV's

Besides what people already said relating to the amount of time making time size relative , and memory affecting perception

I also like to think adult life is full of too much work, the amount of time you are actually living your own life is way shorter compared to when you were a kid, a teenager and even young adult in some cases. Not forgetting that the time working isn't only the hours clocked, there is a lot of indirect work time, for example commuting .

I wish I could work 30 hours a week, probably 6 per day, and still get a good salary/ money.

I player a lot of the original insurgency, even participated in the brief competitive scene it had. From what i remember, very few people migrated from the original insurgency to sandstorm,

They launched it with the same long time problems the original had, plus new problems . Some of these long time problems were already fixed by server tools in the older game, for example spawn camp (was actually worse in the new one). Overall among the people that I knew it was almost unanimous that the new game was worse. Don't know how things are nowadays

I have doubts about the long term survivability of cinemas in general,

For me I won't bother going unless it's the premium/VIP cinemas, and even those are hard to justify if you have a decent TV and sound at home, There are several drawbacks of the cinema experience, while at home have several benefits, almost fighting a losing battle from the start ,

Last I heard there were some of these contraceptives moving into clinical trials, the ones with gel in the vas deferens,

Anyway it is irrelevant for regular people, because it isn't available and probably won't be within 5 to 10 years if lucky. Maybe it would be relevant if it had a chance of being available in 1 to 2 years , even then who knows how expensive it would be or how long it would take to be accessible, as in a lot of doctors doing it.

I always thought that the Kinect was great , extremely fun , with a few limited games

The wii was great too , a bit "clunky" ,

But from the get go the proposition isnt as universal as playing a game the normal way ,

I wouldn't, because I don't want children, so to me it makes no sense to date someone that has kids. Given that the dating is with the intention of a long term relationship.

Maybe something along the lines of a "one off" would "fit" better because it wouldn't be relevant anyway.

Cool but I have never seen an automated parking garage where i live , i guess that would be the main usage, or some kind of towing too ,

But is it anywhere close to cost effective?

It is not a slippery slope, it is the intended purpose, with a different implementation.

Anyone with a few braincells working knows that it is all bullshit this crusade against porn "for the kids" .

In the end the objective is just ever more identification, tracking and control of everyone .

It gets even worse when you think of how the improper access could be properly mitigated...
