Ah yes, like when Microsoft said that it will add jobs during it's merger with Blizzard, or any other merger that said that it'll make life easier and better for consumers. Consolidation does nothing but harm consumers and downstream businesses.

Getting this in early.

Oh, a corporation made a non binding promise? Everything is okay, then! Whew, I was worried for a minute!

It’s worst. IIRC the Ellis Family are heavy Trump’s donors

And Reed Hastings, the Netflix CEO, is a Democrat megadonor and notorious critic of Trump.

I’m honestly surprised Netflix got away with the bid. At first.

*THUNE: PARAMOUNT BID MAY CREATE POTENTIAL HEAVY ANTITRUST ISSUE

Trump is a lame duck pedophile president who grows more unpopular by the day.

People often promise things during a merger that they don’t deliver later. Like saying, “this will save jobs!”

Even if it was written in some sort of deal it wouldn't be trustworthy.

It should be compulsory to sell to all providers at same price or be forced to split. Now do Disney. Monopolistic control of the arts punishes us all.

There should be compulsory licensing for video content like radio has.
