Considering how many streamers are encouraging people to sign up for the ad-supported plans, I think they’re making more money from the ads. Of course, they’re double-dipping just like the cable companies used to do. Charging for a subscription, and then making even more money by showing you ads. The OP’s screenshot is like how they used to charge for each cable descrambler box in a home. Wanna watch in both the bedroom and the living room? Pay up!
Just one reason their stock price is down. They no longer report subscriber numbers — you can probably guess why. It’s strange to me that a public company can just hide data from investors that might reveal when a company isn’t doing so hot.
It’s also stupid they would clamp down like this on ad-supported plans. Advertisers want eyeballs, and this means less of them. Reminds me of Reddit moving to a log-in only model.
The veto is a strong power. And if the Congress is still staffed with do-nothings, then they can rule by executive fiat like the current administration does.
I wonder if pharmaceutical companies like moderna will throw their donation dollars to democrats next cycle? Republicans obviously don’t want them to be able to sell their products.
I liked the first half. Especially the idea of a quarantined lab in space divided in half. It wasn’t until the reintroduction of the android that it went off a cliff.
Sincere question: why would you need to charge at a walmart or other retail charger — do you by any chance live in an apartment complex? Not a slight, just trying to figure out if apartment people are finally adopting electric vehicles. Chargers at places like these could help with that kind of adoption.
I recommend getting one that doesn’t have a pfas/teflon coating on the basket. There are some with glass bottoms, but they don’t look as convenient as the drawer/basket type. Some drawer models have ceramic coatings.
Also, a convection toaster oven can work as an air fryer. These usually have an “air fryer” setting. Probably not as convenient as the drawer/basket models, but they have the advantage of being multipurpose.

It’s just greed.

Fine with me. I don’t intend to use it at all.

I’m amazed Element, Cube, and the like haven’t made a comeback as EV models. The boxy design makes them perfect for a floorboard of batteries.
Sincerely wishing the AMC badge would make a comeback. Bring back the Levi’s edition Gremlin!
Long covid is a thing. And it sucks. I’d rather be vaccinated than end up with long covid.

They also support public education — something Republicans have been trying to get rid of. And roads paid for through taxes instead of tolls.
How much do terrestrial radio stations pay for each play?
Are there separate payments to the songwriter and label, or is the penny the full payment?
But muh YouTube views!
Just continually squandering such a great idea for a show. I gave up.

Scientists have been warning everyone this was coming since the 1970s if we didn’t change our ways.
Meanwhile in Spain, they’ve figured out we’re gonna have to grow stuff in greenhouses or indoors.
