A reminder of why it is stupid for governments to name things after people. It costs $1 million to change the signage to that person’s name. Then another million to change it back when you later decide that person is problematic.

@Malyca @reddig33 Would it be possible to take that 1.2 million and spend it on outreach to women and girls and other people who've been victims of sexual violence. Always easier to make symbolic changes rather than actual ones
