Oh people are for sure. Our far-right party "AfD" functioneers aren't publicly naming it, but everyone clearly knows they're having wet dreams about their "fourth Reich".
While simultaneously being literal spies for China and Russia. And they call themselves patriots. In a movie, I'd call this whole plot unbelievable and dumb.
I work with a woman who is just.. something else. She went on and on about the new Napoleon cake the bakery was selling. She eventually brought us some. It was neapolitan.
If the name was actually Napoleon, or if it used the traditional French recipe in the image to mimic the flag, I would give it a pass as a good shit post, but it's Neapolitan, and it's using the American recipe, so it's not even tangentially funny. It's just a bad shit post, and not in a good way. Sorry chief, try again.
I think it’s funny, and a great joke in that we don’t say “neopolitan” very often so I could 1,000% see someone call it “Napoliatin” ice cream or something. There’s still a layer of “truth” to make the joke quality. It’s a shitpost with layers.
