I really want to see a sci-fi larian game.

Yum, Shadowrun

I would absolutely love more shadowrun video games.

The SNES, Genesis Shadowruns were great. The tactical indie PC games were incredible. The XBox game... Um... Burn it.

That's my dream.

I'm worried for them to be honest, the expectations and hype are going to be off the charts, impossible to meet most likely.

I mean, I'll buy whatever game they make next but I don't think anyone can hit BG3 levels twice.

I mean they already made two other divinity games. BG 3 wasn't that different from their winning formula. I think they're doing fine.

They have money now though.

It doesn't hurt.

Hype is definitely going to be crazy.

Hopefully, they can at least approach the level of BG3 (i.e. be close enough).

That's how Valve works!

They figure out the fun in a game, do some test runs, and if it's good, they push it forward.

I'd like to see an original IP that isn't medieval fantasy from Larian. I'm keeping my hopes realistic, though and just expecting something on the level of Divinity: OS 2

I'd love to see something more surreal, and really vibes heavy, like in the Planescape/Numenera vein. I love their characters and writing. In my mind the natural evolution is to spend more time doing character actions outside of combat

+1. Less combat, more talking, and fights should be really impactful in turn.

See, Bruce gets it
