Cheap and working conversion from s-video -> digital monitor

Anyone has any recommendations about what to get ? I do have an old TV which I'm connecting to my atari800xl however it looks ridiculous, consumes tons of energy, produces s***tload of heat and I don't think it's going to last for too long :-). Yeah, buying another one ? See my 1st point ... The ultimate goal is to have my atari next to me with small display and enjoy the look of it/occasionally running it. I'm pretty sure that such a convertor exists, it's just me not being able to find it.

thank you for all your suggestions.

If it really outputs svideo, you can search up svideo to hdmi converter boxes; those are cheap and common.

I do have one but picture is not even close to something you'd call "clear" ... I guess in digital world this is almost mission impossible. Getting a "bridge" between 2 different technologies can not be cheap.

oh yeah. “pixel perfect” scaling is the holy grail but it seems industry just doesn’t generally care about this. i remember looking around and finding some such converters but they were not cheap.
