Seattle’s Living Computers Museum logs off forever, as Paul Allen estate auctions vintage items

This was such a cool place! This is such a shame. I’m glad I got to visit it while it was in business.

This is sad news. I really enjoyed this museum when I visited Seattle.

Fuck. I never got to go and I was hoping for a miracle to happen so that his sister would not sell it off like she has everything else.

It's a fucking disgrace that none of the tech giants in our city care enough to support such a legendary museum. They will blow billions on game studio acquisitions, AI deals and sports arenas, but won't keep their own history alive.

I'll miss this museum. Wish the Smithsonian bought it out and added it to its collection.

I'd gone to this museum probably 5-6 times and every time it was amazing. Grateful to have the opportunity but I'm so saddened that it'll be closing for good. I wish Gates, Bezos, or any rich tech billionaire would've stepped in and tried to buy it out.
