No, that's just asking you to keep uncover false downloads. I don't believe that it is saying that because your own download was false.

Everyone sees this notice, I saw it on the official desktop Firefox client. They're just trying to reach as many people as possible.

I guess Mull uses Firefox user agent to reduce fingerprinting and the Mozilla website thinks it's fake Firefox because of it.
Redkey@programming.dev · 13 pts · 2y
When I go to that URL on a stock, direct FF install, I still see that notice.
GolfNovemberUniform@lemmy.ml · -4 pts · 2y
Then it's a bug
SeeJayEmm@lemmy.procrastinati.org · 17 pts · 2y
No you've just misunderstood that notice. Everyone sees it.

Mozilla is getting exponentially worse in the recent few years so that's expected.

Fuck the fox.
AVincentInSpace@pawb.social · 11 pts · 2y
Why?
jjlinux@lemmy.ml · -17 pts · 2y
They sold their soul. I don't trust them farther than I can throw a fully loaded 787. On that same note, fuck Google, fuck Apple, fuck Adobe, fuck LG, I can go on forever.
Now keep down voting me, fuck those who do too. 🤣
AVincentInSpace@pawb.social · 23 pts · 2y
They did? That's news to me. Who did they sell it to? And what do you use instead?
^So^ ^help^ ^me^ ^God,^ ^if^ ^you^ ^say^ ^Brave^

To the devil (Google).
No, I respect myself and you too much to say Brave. Mullvad and Libres Wolf. So, the fox while unfucked without a tail.

Mozilla "sold their soul to Google"? What did I miss?

Look at the finances part: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mozilla_Corporation
That's hooker behavior right there.

I agree with pretty much everything after "on that same note", except I'm not familiar with LG. What did they do?
crusty@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 2 pts · 2y
Problematic linear compressors maybe?
AVincentInSpace@pawb.social · 3 pts · 2y
Probably the privacy invasive TVs
jjlinux@lemmy.ml · 3 pts · 2y
Privacy invasive everything, forced arbitration, TOS bait and switch.,etc.
AVincentInSpace@pawb.social · 3 pts · 2y
Oh, was it them that made the IoT washing machines with a nasty habit of unannounced port scans?
jjlinux@lemmy.ml · 1 pts · 2y
To all that down voted me, 🤣🤣🤣.
There's your FireFuck, another one bites the dust!
