Just as we hoped we never would have to put our hearts and thoughts back out onto the praries again, for another one of these tragedies...

the passenger bus was heading south from Dauphin toward Carberry on Highway 5 when it was struck by the semi trailer, which was travelling eastbound on Highway 1. The bus had already crossed the the westbound lanes of Highway 1 when it was hit.

Somewhat different than the Humboldt crash. Looks like bus driver at fault here. Probably didn't see the truck.

I hope that the families and drivers can recover, eventually :/

Probably, but not sure how that's possible.

It's a wide open area with no view blocks.

More details. Truck dash cam footage shows bus pulling out directly in front of them at highway speeds. Driver error for bus. This article is gruesome.
