Got a call from the place where I really want to work. They had interviewed me a couple of months ago but only had an opening at a location that was too far from me. They called to let me know a position just became available at their location near me. I'm super excited to switch jobs because I'm currently cashiering at a big orange hardware store and it is really sucking the joy out of life. I've been there less than 3 months and already dreading every time I have to go in.

I got back in touch with a favorite teacher from 25 years ago, and spent a day with an old friend. It was a fantastic day!
