Wow! Never had any luck with the rat skull.
BTW, did you know that you can bless an Ankh with the water from your bottle to get instantaneous resurrection on a deadly hit without losing your backpack?

I do, but unblessed Ankhs provide more health and satiety. And this was a simple 1chal just to play around with trinkets a bit

Yeah when playing 9-chal you almost rely on unblessed ankhs for that very reason.
