Everett makes an impression (July 27, 1909)

Just hold this pose for a while until the cement sets good!

Ever the artist, Mr. True branches out into mixed media (cement and fool face).

Well, Everett did way more damage than the first guy! If Everett saw what Everett was doing, he'd smash their face into the cement!

Not enough cement for that

I've been wondering since I fist started reading these; what the hell is Everett wearing? Is he wearing a onesie and a cardigan?

It’s a tailcoat and striped pants aka Morning Dress or Formal Day Dress.

He just wears his pants up to his nipples like Steve Urkel

The height of the pants makes me think of Oliver Hardy.

Laurel & Hardy came later than E True, but I wonder if it was an old vaudeville archetype.
