Most (all?) other characters this season have normal human feet with toes, but this cat familiar has just two round stumps / paws.

Note: I am the friend.

You made me realize I'm not watching anything with feet this season, which is surprising considering I'm watching the anime about vtubers 🤔

hahaha, I haven't seen much of the current season. I tend to wait until a Blu-Ray version exists unless my buddies wanna watch it.
