The song 1985 by SR-71 (and covered by Bowling For Soup) was released closer to 1985 than to the present day

I’m old enough to remember when sr71 was called Honor Among Thieves, and they sucked then too.

I don't think I have ever heard the SR-71 version. I'll have to look that up, I never would have thought it was a cover song.
