So the brazillian migration to #bluesky has pushed their total user count to ~8.9M (https://bsky.jazco.dev/stats).

This is now greater than #mastodon 's ~7.5M (https://fedidb.org/software/mastodon) which would also be inflated by account migrations and having more time.

Total #fediverse users is still greater at ~11.9M, but that's likely with a lot of overlap.

Interestingly, there may not be too much overlap between fedi and bsky (though clearly some), so all up the "free network" could be at ~10M users?

I was reading yesterday that Thrrads has about 100M users, so I wonder if those chances are over.

I don’t use Meta so I don’t know what it’s like but I don’t like the company.

Me neither. I only keep FB for marketplace and work contacts. And I use FB messenger because it has chatheads that draw over other apps.

Outside of that I refuse to use a FB product.
