Butcher got bored. Had to. Nobody in a position to say no would have let this happen.

Maybe Texas is just crazy like that

NegativeInf@lemmy.world · 29 pts · 2y

Can confirm, Texas is this crazy. I have seen this in multiple meat markets in the small town I'm from.

henfredemars@infosec.pub · 4 pts · 2y

I chose to believe this to restore my sanity.

Burgle them turts

Bananigans@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 7 pts · 2y

That sounds like a rock fact.

funkless_eck@sh.itjust.works · 6 pts · 2y

Perchance.

$8.88?!?!

I guess it is a pound and a quarter, but still.

Swedneck@discuss.tchncs.de · 2 pts · 2y

maybe there's prime beef on the inside

v4ld1z@lemmy.zip · 7 pts · 2y (19 replies)

Mark NSFW maybe

Oha@lemmy.ohaa.xyz · 12 pts · 2y (18 replies)

how is an agglomeration of meat in the shape of a turtle offensive?

festnt@sh.itjust.works · 8 pts · 2y (1 reply)

same way i would feel if i saw an agglomeration of meat in the shape of a person i guess:

kinda disgusted, kinda interested about the reason someone would do such a weird thing

(seeing that brings out the same feelings, but less)

Swedneck@discuss.tchncs.de · 2 pts · 2y

I hate this, it is revolting!

"more?"

Please!

Noodle07@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 2y

Hungry

v4ld1z@lemmy.zip · -3 pts · 2y (11 replies)

Even though I'm a vegan and I'd prefer not to see displays of dead animals, I'm not as sensitive to seeing this. Others might be. No harm in adding an NSFW tag in my books

Edit: Guess I'll just go fuck myself for stating an opinion

A_Very_Big_Fan@lemmy.world · 11 pts · 2y (1 reply)

I'm not even vegan/vegetarian and I find it vaguely disturbing

festnt@sh.itjust.works · 10 pts · 2y

it IS disturbing because its an agglomeration of different types of meat in the shape of a turtle

but i dont think it should be nsfw

Captain_Buddha@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 2y (6 replies)

How is it not safe for work though? Nsfw isn't "potentially offensive" tagging.

v4ld1z@lemmy.zip · 0 pts · 2y (5 replies)

It's the closest to having a "trigger warning" tag, which doesn't exist afaik. NSFW, NSFL

festnt@sh.itjust.works · 5 pts · 2y (4 replies)

the closest to a trigger warning is marking it as spoiler and saying what appears on the image in the title or description.

v4ld1z@lemmy.zip · 0 pts · 2y (1 reply)

Right, forgot about those

festnt@sh.itjust.works · 2 pts · 2y

eh, it happens

v4ld1z@lemmy.zip · 0 pts · 2y (1 reply)

NuWuX@sh.itjust.works · 3 pts · 2y (1 reply)

Humans are animals too. So, it's somewhat ironic that you've got a stylized exposed human skull as a profile picture.

Yes, I know it's from Diablo 2; great game!

v4ld1z@lemmy.zip · 3 pts · 2y

I'll be honest, I actually hadn't thought about that before - good point

ZILtoid1991@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 2y (1 reply)

What if it's a tortoise?

Gilles_D@feddit.org · 4 pts · 2y

Ah, there’s sausages with this, so could be
