My exposure to these badgers was a "banana phone" music video, so I always hear that when I see them πŸŒπŸ“±

Rhaedas@fedia.io · 19 pts · 1y

Huh, a gif with sound. Now it won't stop.

BearOfaTime@lemm.ee · 17 pts · 1y

Damn you, beat me to it. And now I have that song in my head.

One of them has war paint, the other got drenched while changing the car's oil

SynopsisTantilize@lemm.ee · 7 pts · 1y

And the wife is yelling about dinner getting cold. He's got 10 bolts on the ground but has no idea why there are only 9 threaded holes for bolts. And hey wait....he's changing the oil, what could he possibly have taken 9 bolts off of.

To be clear, both will drag you into a back alley and pull a shiv on you though.

finitebanjo@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 1y

And the American Badger is actually addicted to Meth as well.

fleet@lemmy.ca · 37 pts · 1y

I'm pretty sure the thing on the left is a Wolverine. There are definitely badgers in North America that look a lot like the one on the right.

lightnsfw@reddthat.com · 16 pts · 1y (1 reply)

Everyone knows European badgers live in a volcano forging weapons for their rabbit army.

HexesofVexes@lemmy.world · 15 pts · 1y

Badger on the left just saw his healthcare bill. Badger on the right ate some bad beans and is contemplating the nature of regret.

That's just so you're oblivious to what's about to happen.

Scared prey doesn't taste as good.

Now let's compare European and Australian native wildlife. Europe just has been beating their native populations down for millennia. No surprise they're embracing all of the societal controls.

ripcord@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 1y

Or American and Australian possums

finitebanjo@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 1y

The American Badger doesn't look like that but it is absolutely representative of how they act.
