Not really a secret, it's yet another military base. Probably used for enhanced interrogation™ during the Eternity War.

Anyone care to guess how long before that island is completely submerged due to rising seas?

Doesn't exactly seem like a long-term base.

Never thought I'd get to share this ... Super Sinia does lots of video blogs about her life, she spent many years on Diego Garcia!

The base is also one of an “extremely limited number of places worldwide available to reload submarines” with weapons like Tomahawk missiles.
