I'm also at the wait and see with iceshrimp. my general pref software-wise here would be hajkey but atm they're committed to being soft fork from firefish because their own dev capacity limits but if iceshrimp devs are legit working on the security issues etc then likely hajkey will move to them imo. Just wish I have enough technical acumen to play around and spin an instance whichever software it is.
@.@ you underestimate a lot of F&B sellers, their profit margin is insane... many have very low operating cost cause they occupy public space and what not.
