I don't see options in the settings, such as Receive an email when an account posts to Mastodon. Lemmy communities and Mastodon profiles both produce a RSS feed of posts. I'm sure there is a RSS-to-email service that would do the trick.

Some e-mail clients, like for example Thunderbird, do also support RSS.

Email notifications can be setup, but the option needs to be enabled by the instance administrator. Failing that, your phone app might support push notifications.
