I don't trust Bryan Lunduke as a source. He fell into QAnon conspiracy-type stuff and MAGA politics. Not a sign of good judgment.

I knew he was a shithead, but I didn't realise how much of one.

Videos suck for topics like this. I'm not about to watch a video that should just be an article.

1 minute in, the video stops and requests that we log in...

Give us your data so we can tell you how Firefox is taking your date…

Right? 🤦

Ok, but why is this Website/Rumble so bad? I just want to see the comments but have to log in to do anything, wtf

Not going to watch a video. I am gathering from comments on the youtube video that he is taking about telemetry data. You can check out e.g. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/thunderbird-telemetry.

I typically opt out of telemetry data these days, having been burned a few times.

How have you been burned? In any practical way?

This Lundluke got seems to be some kind of Qanon person.

@jeena @freeguru He really is. He was once a vaguely sane FOSS industry commentator. Then he lost/left his job, and had to monetise his blog & channel. Result: 90% of it is frothing hatred and insanity.
