The problem is that you know the first few batches are likely the best, and every batch afterwards was chasing the high of the first batch. As I typed that, I’m surprised someone hasn’t tried to repeat the recipe and return with results.

Ok but like was this one big terrible mistake that a bunch of lizards made one day or just a string of extra really dumb individual lizards?
My money is on one day, maybe a mother led her babies there and once it was on, they were all trapped.

If this is true, I can't (nor want) to imagine how uncomfortable discovering this fact was.
It had to have been VERY uncomfortable. Or maybe exciting, depending on the accessibility to more baby lizards?
