I know they're building hype, but it feels kind of cruel
I was going to buy the game anyway, they don't need to sell me on it. I don't to watch somebody else discover the new features of the game.... I want to do it
True I'm not watching anyone play, I just want to find out myself.
Also I know this isn't a pay 20$ ekstra and play 3 days early. But it just has that "vibe". And every game is doing that now a days, and it's just getting kind of annoying
If it helps, keep in mind that the game is not in a releasable state yet and they are also beta testing the game. Nilaus managed to run into a complete gamebreaking bug that he needed to spend some time debugging with Wube and lost a few hours of progress to restore to a valid state.
What is cool about this expansion? I haven’t looked at it because I don’t care all that much. Growing my py factory is taking pretty much all my free time.
4 new planets with new logistics chains, special challenges and enemies, as well as space platforms/rockets. And a bunch of new content to go with it. Its at least double, if not close to triple the amount of content.
Dosh Doshington just made his last Factorio video without the expansuon, after playing with the expansion, and basically complained about how much better the game is with the update about once every couple minutes for an hour while building his first ever megabase, haphazardly.
That is a good sign. I’ve been playing it for years and think it is just about perfect as is (assuming I have mods). So I guess I’m excited about it now!
Well if you dont know much you can of course read all the Friday facts. But you could also just jump in s find out all the new cool stuff for your self!
I know some YouTubers have done some "Review" of most new stuff in the DLC and in Factorio 2.0 (Xterminator is one example I know of)
But to give some examples of why I am excited:
New train scheduling(train interrupts)
New train tracks
Completely new mechanics
New building improved building (assembly, furnace, chemical plant)
And last but not least (maybe this one Iam the most exited to try out)

That's also what iam telling myself, but still. I just wanna play it. And everywhere om YouTube and twitch I get teased that people are playing.
Iam constantly thinking about all the stuff I want to build, and it's not making it easier seeing so many are playing right now haha
