One of the greatest films of all time. The scene with the one-way mirror is pure cinematographic genius.
But to be honest, it took me a while to appreciate it due to its slow pacing and initial dearth of exposition (or dialogue overall). 18-year old me hated this "slow-ass, boring movie". 😅

I adore this film. The lighting and color are unique to Robby Müller, and they elevates the narrative like no other films.
