Hey, I'm an American coming to Canada to get a bike in Winnipeg and was wondering what to do there since I will be there for probably a week (we live southwest US, so I might as well). Teen friendly if you can as the bike is for a teenager

If the butterfly garden is back at the zoo again, that's worth the price of admission itself.

I second this, it was a great experience for the amount me and the spouse paid to get in.
I have heard people talk negatively about the leaf but when I went in the winter it really helped with beating the snow-blues.
The staff were very pleasant as well.

Depends when you are coming, but pretty much every weekend in the summer there is some sort of festival going on.

Ask also in !winnipeg@lemmy.ca -- more traffic there.
If you're here for a week: do you have a car?
Also, out of curiosity, why Winnipeg to buy a bike?
