All we are saying .... is give corn flakes and jam a chance.

I put cornflakes in my acai bowls and that seems similar

i grew up eating corn flakes with strawberry jam, and i didn’t realize until now that it was unusual.

I'm with you. Having corn flakes without strawberry jam is unusual, if you ask me.

I never had it growing up, but came up with it myself as lazy adult that wanted a tasty bowl of cereal. It's really not that far-fetched.

Tell me more. Are these the only ingredients? How is this dish prepared?

What's John doing with his left hand?

FlyingSquid@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 1y

I've had cheerios with a drizzle of honey on top (no milk) and it was decent. Maybe this is like that.

I'm lactose intolerant. So on the rare occasion I eat cereal I just make it wet with some water. A drizzle of honey sounds great.

There has to be soy milk or almond milk or something else that could be used.
