An ethical judge wouldn't let that interfere with their judgement. An ethical city wouldn't put a judge in that situation.

I wouldn't want the appearance of any conflicts and would reassign the case. Especially for a case as high profile as this.

Healthcare executive is not at all the same as health insurance executive. Most people in health care hate the insurance as much or more.

Maybe 'Executive' is the issue here. I do agree there's a difference between healthcare and health insurance.
