I've been experimenting lately with combining my older style (which was heavily inspired by Rayman 1's character art) with my newer one, so while it is still an airbrushy style it's not TOO airbrushy, and it's a little messier. I had an absolute blast drawing this one, though I did start to get a little hungry while I was painting the tomato sauce!
I like angels, fish, and pasta, so I combined all three for this drawing to make this fishy friend!

The softness and contrast of the lighting made me think this was Midjourney or something, but then I saw the progress pics. I'm impressed, this is really great!

I am surprised that you did not use angel hair pasta.
