AM I NOT SUPPOSED TO DO THAT? I JUST FILL IT UP UNTIL IT HITS THE LID BECAUSE IT DOESNT MAKE SENSE THAT A CONTAINER MEANT FOR DRINKING WATER ISNT WATERPROOF.
I know the recommendation for minimum line is to keep it above the filter's bottom to prevent it from drying. I'd assume the max fill is to prevent spillage and mold growth in the corners between the container and the filter compartment.
