Last time I packed light I got stuck for a week and rewore the same stuff over and over. I bought tide pods and did laundry and now I don't travel without a small pack for emergencies
Put the white laundry powder in unmarked Ziploc bags, portioned out in small amounts for easy use. Airport security love it when you keep everything neat like that

You should consider laundry powder instead, less chance of rupturing and making a sticky mess. Plus its cheaper and just as efficient :)
