Liam got ahead of himself and reported on incorrect data. Good that he updated the article, but bad update to the headline which is still misleading.

Yea, this guy is pretty rude, saw him get triggered on bluesky after someone called it out.

He got run out of the fediverse because he was abusing mod powers to promote his website. Complained about the open mod log on his way out the door.

Yeah, I don't see a Nintendo device dethroning Deck anytime soon, especially when they serve the same purpose.

Normally I would be excited for a new Nintendo console, but my only thought was. “Do I really want 2 handheld consoles?”

I’m not excited for it at all and just want to use my steamdeck.

This will be the first time I don’t get a Nintendo console right away. I may even skip it all together as Nintendo has been assholes lately.

They will need a really killer set of games for me to change my mind about it.

Well really, the question is "What does this handheld console actually play?"

Deck: anything you want within hardware reason Switch: Nintendo roms (they apparently don't even ship hardware carts now I guess?)

Huh? Go to any Walmart and you'll see loads of physical copies. Switch 2 is even confirmed to use them.

I guess I would consider a switch 2 after they have a few great first party games.

I would need a decent number of these items to be on the system before I considered it.
